About the psychoanalyst
I'm Silvio Ambrosini, a psychoanalyst and I live in São Paulo.
My practice is based on attentive and careful listening , aimed at understanding emotional conflicts, repetitions that generate suffering and difficulties in bonds and relationships.
Through psychoanalysis, I offer a safe space for each person to come closer to their spoken and unspoken story and together we can build possibilities for working through symptoms and patterns that limit life.
The word enchants me, there is no way not to feel affection and curiosity for the being that communicates, no matter how rudimentary that communication may be.

How does it work?
First step: a conversation
You can schedule an initial meeting, free of charge. This meeting is so we can get to know each other, understand your issues and see if it makes sense to continue with the process.
Weekly sessions, online or in person
The service takes place in individual sessions, at a fixed weekly time. The sessions can be online or in person, depending on your preference and availability.
A safe space to talk, in your own time
In psychoanalysis, there are no judgments or ready-made answers. It is a space for listening and reflection, where, at your own pace, you can understand what repeats itself, what causes suffering and build new possibilities for your life.
Bio
I am Silvio Ambrosini, a psychoanalyst in training at the Center for Psychoanalytic Studies of São Paulo (CEP), with a clinic focused on listening to psychic suffering in its singularity.
My practice is based on the Freudian, Kleinian and Bionian tradition, with special attention to early forms of trauma, unconscious repetitions, negative transference and the possibility of working through what often remains unspeakable.
I am open to accepting the demands of LGBTQIA+ people and other minorities, offering a space free from judgment, sensitive to the subjective and social specificities that permeate these experiences. I began psychoanalysis when I realized the success of my personal analysis. I had 9 sessions in the first stage, went through a second, a third and am now heading towards a fourth experience that has only brought me benefits for my psychic life. My clinical training is accompanied by a consistent path of personal analysis and active participation in seminars, study groups and supervision. I am currently a member of the weekly group “Novas Leituras”, dedicated to the study of W. R. Bion, and the clinical seminars to discuss the emotional aspects of the transference relationship, both coordinated by the psychoanalyst Péricles Pinheiro Machado. I also participate in groups focused on clinical and theoretical development, such as: Individual clinical supervision with psychoanalyst Milson Santos Clinical Case Supervision Group with Nelson Cristini "The Great Cases of Psychosis" and "Cartographies of Madness", both with Joana Abrantes and Carolina Santos GEMK – Melanie Klein Study Group, with Tássia Camargo I am an integral member of the CEP Observatory, being part of the Psychoanalysis, Genders and Sexualities Committee with Gabriela Cordaro, Karen Razera and Fran Rocha I attend in-person clinical seminars at CEP I do biweekly in-person group supervision with Mônica Seincman My training trajectory also includes recent courses and meetings on topics such as: The Psychoanalytic Clinic of Depression, with Julio César Nascimento Declining Maternal Function, with Julieta Jerusalinsky Anguish in the Clinic Psychoanalysis and Helplessness in the Field of Anguish, with Mário Eduardo Costa Pereira The Place of the Psychoanalyst in the Treatment of Psychoses Fundamentals of Psychoanalytic Clinic in W. I can provide services in three languages, Portuguese, English and Spanish, and I can even speak some Italian. Both in person (in São Paulo) and online, offering a space for ethical and welcoming listening for those who wish to understand and transform psychological suffering.
